An alternate theory on why the Transformers Wiki is always broken

As you know, Transformers is a property where the fans, no matter the age, are typically male. Because of this, the websites that focus on this tend to get confused when it has female members, unless it has a sufficient quantity of content usually considered "girly". This makes the server seem very bigoted, but this is because servers are very bigoted. Remember, computers think in binary, so of course they're going to gave a extremely generalized view of the world.

To help the computer cope with information that does not fit with its black-and-white view of the world, websites must have a percentage of "girly" content that matches the percent of its members that are female. This is usually added by the females themselves, in the form of slashfic and Suefic. Sites like this one don't need that much girly content, while Transformer sites made mostly of females, such as The Padded Cell, will have entire forums dedicated to slash.

Keeping the content balanced is very important. If this is neglected, the server can be overloaded, databases can be corrupted, and in extreme cases, the server will start to delete its own content. In the absence of a sufficient source of girly content, site admins are forced to remove non-girly content, usually by pruning old and large threads.

This can easily explain why the Transformers Wiki is down so often: the franchise doesn't have all that much that the server could consider "girly". All the franchise has to offer is Zone (the two humans are gay for each other), Energon Mirage, Japanese-dub Beast Wars Airazor and Tigatron, the almost-yuri in Kiss Players, and various out-of-context quotes, screengrabs and comic panels.

There is a possible solution to this problem without adding non-canon material, but this rests on wether the server interperts instructuins, pictures of toys missing accessories or with its kibble removed, or material with Transformers having pieces of armor removes as porn or not.

I don't know what this means for Pretenders.
